Other services
Passante Ferroviario – S-LINES: The blue line on Metro Map is called Passante Ferroviario (this is the Italian way to german S-bahn). It is served by Ferrovie dello Stato and Le Nord trains, and allows to reach some outlying areas and some urban stations such as Garibaldi, Repubblica, Porta Venezia, Dateo, Porta Vittoria, Bovisa, Certosa, Rogoredo and Rho Fiera (available in 2009).
ATM tickets are valid in the urban area of Passante, but just for one journey. It is always necessary to validate your ticket. Trains run 6 am – 1 am.
Radiobus: Radiobus is a new ATM service, something between the traditional public transport and taxis: the bus "on-call" is accessible only by reservation. The service comes out of the needs of the clientele and guarantees a minimisation of journeys on foot and of distance time of the journey. Radiobus is operating from 20.00 to 2.00 at night and operates within the urban area.
