Her winning paper, co-authored with Emanuele Fedeli and Moris Triventi (University of Milan), is titled
Bridging or Widening the Gap?
The Role of School-Level Resources for Migrant and Native Student Achievement in Italy
The study examines how the school context, specifically the availability of school resources, impacts educational achievement gaps in Italian and mathematics between students with and without a migrant background, with a focus on the second year of upper secondary school in Italy (Grade 10).
The Ph.D. Paper Award recognized the most relevant study by Ph.D. students or early-career researchers, valuing originality, methodological innovation, and especially the relevance of results for future policy implications.
Congratulations Elisa!
