the NEW Industrial and Interdisciplinary doctoral programme
of the University of Milan
Academic Year 2022-2023 (38th COHORT)

Beginning of the courses: November 2, 2022
Thanks to the funds made available by the Next Generation EU (Ministry Decree 351/2022), the University of Milan calls for application for new 41 fully funded doctoral positions available for the 38th cohort (A.Y. 2022/2023).
Available scholarships are topic-specific and linked with partner institutions.
Therefore:
- applicants are required to select a research theme among those outlined in the Call
- admitted PhD students will spend a period – variable between 6 and 18 months - as interns at partner institutions, i.e. companies or public administration bodies (see the Call for details).
The Faculty board of the new industrial and interdisciplinary PhD programme “INTERSECTORAL INNOVATION: Dottorato Intersettoriale per l’Innovazione” is composed of professors coming from all the 34 PhD Programmes of the University of Milan.
NASP is involved in the new PhD Programme with 3 scholarships issued in cooperation with Public administration bodies on the following topics:
1 scholarship on the Research theme:

Admitted candidates will attend ESLS, POLS and SOMET training activities.
Admission to the Ph.D. programme INTERSECTORAL INNOVATION is based on qualifications and interviews.
While applying, candidates interested in one or all of these 3 research lines must use Model 1 attached to the Call in order to specify the related scholarships code(s) reported in the call (and into brackets above), and to write a motivation letter according to the instructions included in the Model.
