Topic of thesis: Social relationships and social participation of women with disability.
Abstract: The aim of this study is to explore structural, functional, and cognitive characteristics of social relationships of women with three different types of disabilities, as well as aspects of their social participation in the wider community – barriers and facilitators of their social and physical environment in that respect. The three types of disability to be explored are: a) sensory (deafness), b) movement-related (spinal cord injury), and c) mental (schizophrenia) disabilities. Qualitative methods will be employed for data collection and analysis.
