Topic of thesis: the Italian medical profession as a political actor capable to affect the health policy-making process, and consequently the laws that could and should affect its job and autonomy. the study will focus on the Italian case, but the experience of other countries will be taken into account.

Research interests: welfare state, health care systems, medical profession.
